Tudur Owen ar ei Ben ei Hun

Tudur Owen ar ei Ben ei Hun

We follow comedian Tudur Owen, who's best-known for playing spoof policeman PC Leslie Wynne, as he attempts to fulfil his dream of staging a one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Opening Night

Tudur Owen ar ei ben ei hun follows Tudur as he prepares for the opening night of his show, 'The Worst Zoo in Britain'. Tudur describes the preparation and the challenge of getting an audience every night as "one of the hardest experiences of my life."

The festival was held last August and there was fierce competition between the different events. Tudur had to compete against well-known comedians such as Michael McIntyre and Bill Bailey - and over 2,500 different shows - for an audience.

Tudur's Edinburgh

Before making his debut at the Fringe, Tudur was a big fan of the festival and would visit each year. This was the reason behind performing there last summer - that and the fact that he'd just turned 40!

"One of the highlights of my year is visiting Edinburgh. There's so much live entertainment of all kinds there - from comedy performances, stand-up and street theatre to music. There's so much going on at the same time it's hard to see and do everything".

Tudur regularly appears in comedy clubs around Britain and has performed as a stand-up comedian in Wales and beyond for over ten years.
