In new art series Byd o Liw, contemporary Welsh artists offer fresh interpretations of famous paintings of the Welsh coastline. Their challenge is to follow in the footsteps of six past masters who were inspired by Wales’ stunning coastline and a traveling art exhibition will feature the new works produced in the series.
Mary Lloyd Jones, Gwilym Prichard, Rob Piercy and Catrin Webster among others, offer their own interpretations of classic scenes painted by the likes of Turner and Sisley.
The energetic and charismatic artist Osi Rhys Osmond presents this new six-part series.
Originally from Wattstown in the Rhondda Valley, artist, writer and art lecturer Osi Rhys Osmond now lives in Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire.
