We are at a farm called Ynys Deullyn, in St Nicholas, north Pembrokeshire for today. In this part of the country, a field is called a 'parc', and the local dialect permeates the names used to describe the landscape. There is a large standing stone in one field, and it is believed that it was once used to follow the movement of the sun, as a primitive calendar. Another field name describes an old tradition, drying flannel in the fields - part of the local woollen industry.

The Great War took the lives of 35 thousand Welshmen and Iolo and Hywel visit the sites of all the major conflicts including Ypres, Passchendaele, Mons, The Somme and Verdun as well as the grave of poet Hedd Wyn at the Artillery Wood Cemetery near Flanders.
