S4C has received 25 nominations across a wide range of genres at the 2026 BAFTA Cymru Awards, with STAD (Cwmni Da) and Y Golau: Dŵr (Triongl) both nominated for Television Drama. -
First-look images unveiled for highly anticipated second series of Cleddau

S4C has released a first look at the return of Welsh hit drama Cleddau, which will air on S4C, BBC iPlayer and S4C Clic in October 2026. The six-part second series sees DI Ffion Lloyd (Elen Rhys) and DS Rick Sheldon (Richard Harrington) return as they hunt a killer who uses a dating app to stalk his victims.

New Board Members for S4C

The Secretary of State for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has appointed Rhodri Lewis and Stephen Dimmick for four-year terms, commencing on 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030.
