August is in full swing but in a few weeks, as routine kicks in, many children will be wishing it was still summer. Although Cyw can't promise year-round sunny weather, there will be a new ray of sunshine on S4C's service for pre-school children every morning from September, in the form of new presenter, Elin Haf.

"I was so excited when I heard I'd got the job! It was really difficult to keep it a secret at the beginning as I was working on Stwnsh programmes – which are produced in the same place as Cyw! But I did tell my Mum, Dad, and boyfriend – and my grandmother of course"

Elin will be on Cyw every day from 6.00am from 4 September.
