Dylan and Nia got in touch with us as they wanted more colour in the front garden.

Festuca glauca intense blue 'casblue' 

Festuca Glauca

The Intense Blue is beautiful in borders, as garden plants and on the patio.

The Intense Blue will flower in June.

It'll grow to a maximum of 30 cm and is suitable for all conditions. The plant is very hardy and easy to maintain.

Heuchera villosa 'palace purple'

Heuchera Villosa

Large, shiny, almost metallic, dark burgundy leaves. A popular heuchera, this variety is grown mainly for its distinctive foliage, and it looks particularly effective planted in large drifts and contrasted with other foliage plants.

French lavender with round flowerheads and upright petals like butterfly wings.

Looks wonderful planted in a sunny border.

The flowers are a magnet for bees and other nectar loving insects.

This shrub is compact and evergreen, it grows to 45cm tall.

Highly fragrant and flowers mid to late summer.

This popular, bushy, variegated, evergreen shrub makes excellent ground cover and is a mainstay of low-maintenance gardens.

It is tough and will thrive in any well-drained border in sun or partial shade.

Rosemary is a bushy shrub with a dense, leafy habit, to 2m x 2m but variable in size.

Linear dark green leaves and its flowers are usually a pale violet-blue and white.

Flowering starts in spring but is often repeated at differing times of year.

Dianthus flowers are also called "pinks." They belong to a family of plants which includes carnations and are characterized by the spicy fragrance the blooms emit.

Dianthus plants may be found as a hardy annual, biennial or perennial and most often used in borders or potted displays.

Nepeta

Nepeta

Related to catnip, but much showier, catmints (Nepeta) are easy to grow perennials that not only have flowers in shades of purple-blue, pink and white.

Its gray-green foliage remains attractive throughout the growing season as well.
