Loss and bereavement

The loss of a loved one can be devastating, and leave us with feelings of sadness, hopelessness, even anger. The details of the following organisations and helplines are if you or someone close to you have lost someone and feel in need of help, support or someone to talk to.

  • The Compassionate Friends

    The Compassionate Friends offer a helpline and website with forums aimed at parents who have lost a child. There is also a further website set up to offer support to bereaved siblings.

  • Cruse Bereavement Care

    Cruse Bereavement Care is a service offering counselling, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved. It has ten groups in Wales and bereavement counselling, telephone and children's counselling are provided by carefully selected, trained volunteers.
