More can be done to reflect the LGBT community to children and young people on the media, but a new series that will soon broadcast on S4C's pre-teen service, Stwnsh, is certainly a positive step in the right direction, according to S4C's Children's Content Commissioner, Sioned Wyn Roberts.
S4C is pleased to announce that the channel's new Secretary to the Board is Owain Lloyd. Having worked for the Civil Service for more than 20 years in a variety of different roles, Owain has managed Welsh Government's Childcare, Play and Early Years division for the last three-and-a-half years, leading on a range of commitments including the Government's childcare offer childcare for three and four-year-olds throughout Wales.

With less than a month to go before the second series of the hit drama series Un Bore Mercher on S4C, the audience at a prestigious television festival in London got an early look at the new series.
The stars of Un Bore Mercher Eve Myles and Bradley Freegard along with the author of the series Matthew Hall, were talking at the British Film Institute/Radio Times Television Festival on Sunday (April 14).
Four S4C programmes have received International praise atthe 2019 New York Festivals International Film and Television Awards final held on the 9th of April.
