Official opening of the S4C Media Centre

11 January 2013

S4C has officially opened its new Media Centre on its site in Parc Tŷ Glas in Cardiff on Friday 11 January.

The centre is a location for creative industry companies to work together on a single site with excellent facilities.

Opening the centre, S4C’s Chief Executive, Ian Jones, said that he hopes the venture will bring about benefits for S4C and the creative sector in Wales.

S4C’s Chief Executive, Ian Jones said:

“S4C has a fantastic site here in Llanishen in Wales’ capital, and the opening of this new Media Centre allows us to share its advantages with companies from across the creative industries. I very much hope that the centre will reflect the creative buzz that has always existed within the broadcasting sector and within the media in general.

“For S4C, making the most of the facilities we have at our disposal is very important to us, and by opening our doors and welcoming external companies in, we can create financial opportunities to boost our services in the long run.

“We warmly welcome the first companies and organisations to relocate to the S4C Media Centre.”
