Garffild Lloyd Lewis has been working on a three year contract as S4C’s Relocation Director, heading up the work of relocating S4C’s headquarters from Cardiff to Carmarthen. That contract comes to an end this November and Garffild will be leaving S4C at that point.

In the meantime he has been appointed to the Cabinet of Conwy County Borough Council and between now and November he will be splitting his time between the two institutions. S4C’s employment policies allow staff to be County Councillors, and any time Garffild spends on Council business will be on the basis of unpaid leave from his position with S4C.

Ian Jones, Chief Executive of S4C said:
