S4C Chief Executive has paid tribute to the multitalented performer Dafydd Dafis following the sad news of his death.
Ian Jones said,
“It is with great sadness that we heard of the untimely death of the actor, singer, musician and presenter Dafydd Dafis. He had an immense range of talents and contributed greatly to a raft of S4C series and programmes from the channel's earliest days onwards. As an actor, we will remember him playing characters in productions such as Yr Heliwr/A Mind to Kill, Coleg, Pen Talar and Paradwys Ffwl with skill and passion. He showed the same love for performing as an accomplished soul and pop singer and jazz, pop and rock musician and performed in many S4C entertainment series and concerts. He will be sorely missed and we send our deepfelt sympathy to his family and friends."
