Sgorio will be breaking new ground on Sunday when Gwennan Harries joins the punditry team.

It will be the first time that a woman has appeared as a pundit on a live Sgorio game as Harries, who has won 56 caps for Wales, joins the team for the Welsh Cup quarter-final game between Carmarthen and Rhyl.

Harries has also scored 18 goals for Wales since winning her first full international cap against Moldova in 2006.

A former Everton and Cardiff City player, Harries is currently on the books at Bristol Academy but is injured at the moment.

As well as choosing the February’s Goal of the Month, Harries will also be taking part in the Welsh Cup semi-final draw, alongside Meinir Lewis from the charity Tenovus, the official sponsor of this season’s cup.

Nicky John will be presenting all the action from Richmond Park with Harries and Sion Meredith, who scored for Carmarthen in the 1999 cup final, analysing the game.

Another former Carmarthen player, Mike Davies, will be joined by former Welsh international striker Malcolm Allen in the commentary box, while two former Carmarthen managers, Mark Jones and Tomi Morgan, will provide English commentary on the red button.
