Simon Church’s late penalty earns Wales a draw in their last home game before euro 2016.

The home friendly was a chance for Chris Coleman to experiment with his side before Euro 2016, with Coleman starting with Tom Lawrence and George Williams, and allowing Danny Ward and Lloyd Isgrove their first senior appearances for the national side.

Wales edged a goalless first half as Cotterill had a free-kick saved by Michael McGovern. Northern Ireland improved after the break and scored through Craig Cathcart.

The visitors were undone when Gareth McAuley fouled Simon Church, who converted – as Wales earned a draw.
