Llandudno and Bangor will go head to head live on Sgorio at 17:15 on New Year’s Day, as the Seasiders look to remain in the race for the Top Six.

The Citizens have secured their place in the Top Six for the first time since the 2013/14 season.

After losing his first game in charge at Bangor, Ian Dawes has won his last four games (3 WPL, 1 Welsh Cup). Win ratio: 80%.

Only TNS (11/11) have won more home games than Bangor (8/11) in the WPL this season.

The Seasiders have the worst attacking record in the league – scored 15 goals in 20 games (0.75 goals a game).

Alan Morgan’s men have failed to score in 11 of their 20 league matches this season (55%) and their centre back Mike Williams is the joint top scorer with three goals.

They might be struggling creatively as no Llandudno player has managed more than one assist this season.

Shaun Cavanagh’s late strike was the difference between the two sides when they met at Nantporth on Boxing Day as Bangor came out 2-1 winners.

Last meeting:
Bangor City 2-1 Llandudno (26/12/16)
