Only two days left until the season WPL 2016/17 kicks off, and today we take a look at gap Connah’s Quay ahead of their trip to Carmarthen which will be live on S4C this Saturday, 13 August with kick off at 17:15.

After finishing last season in their highest ever position (4th), gap Connah’s Quay have strengthened even further over the summer and have been tipped as serious title contenders.

Andy Morrison steered the Nomads to Europe in his first season as manager at the Deeside Stadium, and the success continued in the Europa League qualifiers as gap Connah’s Quay managed to knock out Norwegian side Stabæk before losing out a strong FK Vojvodina side from Serbia.
