Bangor City secure their place in the Europa League qualifiers

Rittenberg scored the only goal of the Welsh Premier League Play-Off final as Bangor beat Cardiff Met to secure European Football next Season.

Bangor City secured European football for the first time in three years as the Citizen’s beat Cardiff Met in the Play off final. The Citizen’s will now compete in next season’s Europa League qualifying rounds and enjoy a cash injection of €215,000.

City will join Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bala Town in next season’s Europa League, with The New Saints competing in the Champion’s League qualifiers.

All draws for the Europa League and Champion’s League qualifying rounds will be made at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on 19 June with the first round of games held a week later ( 25-27 June).
