Carmarthen secure home tie in the play-offs

Old Gold will face Cardiff Met at Richmond Park as Bangor welcome Newtown to Nantporth in the Welsh Premier League play-off semi-finals.

A Liam Thomas brace broke Carmarthen’s all-time scoring record (57 goals) to beat Bangor 0-2 and secure a home tie in the play-offs.

Old Gold will now face Cardiff Met at Richmond Park on Sunday the 7th of May. The game will be broadcast live on S4C with Sgorio covering all the action live.

Bangor who finished the season in fourth will welcome bottom six table topping Newtown to Nantporth on Saturday May 6th.
