Sgorio’s live game in the JD Welsh Cup fourth round will be Caernarfon Town against Rhyl FC.

It promises to be quite an occasion at the Oval when Caernarfon, currently second in the Huws Gray Alliance, welcome Rhyl, who are ninth in the Dafabet Welsh Premier League.

It was a game to remember last time Sgorio visit Caernarfon for a live cup match, when the Canaries went two goals ahead against holders, The New Saints, before the wall behind the goal well onto the pitch and TNS struck back to win by three goals to two.

After beating Welsh Premier League side Carmarthen Town in the third round, Caernarfon will be hoping for another cup upset and reaching the Quarter Finals for the first time in over a decade.

Rhyl, who have won the Welsh Cup four times, will be keen to avoid this potential banana skin when Niall McGuinness, the youngest manager in the history of the Welsh top flight, leads his team to the Oval.

S4C will confirm the date and kick-off time for the fixture next week.
