Gareth Bale will miss Wales’ final Group D fixtures after sustaining an Injury. Bale was absent from Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Espanyol over the weekend, with initial optimism that the forward would be available for Wales’ two final World Cup qualifying fixtures against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland.

It was confirmed on Tuesday (3 October) by the Football Association of Wales that the Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale would miss Wales’ final two fixtures in their World Cup qualifying campaign against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland.

Tom Bradshaw has been drafted into the squad following Gareth Bale’s absence.

Gareth Bale won the Players’ Player of the Year award in the FAW’s annual awards ceremony on Monday night.

Wales travel to Tbilisi to face Georgia this Friday before their final World Cup qualifier on Monday night against the Republic of Ireland in the Cardiff City Stadium – both games will be live on S4C.
