Goytre FC have been removed from the Welsh Cup after fielding an ineligible player against Llandudno in the third round of the competition. Llandudno have been reinstated to the competition for the fourth round and will now face Bangor City at the Bangor University Stadium.
The Welsh Cup Rule breach occurred in Goytre’s Round 3 fixture at Llandudno on Saturday, 3 December, which they won 2-0.
Due to the decision taken by the Football Association of Wales, Kris Leek’s goal against Llandudno in the third round is ruled out of December’s Goal of the Month competition.
Bangor v Llandudno in the fourth round of the Welsh Cup will be played on the weekend of the 27-29 of January.
