Three WPL teams will kick off their European adventures on Thursday, 29 June when they play the first leg of the first qualifying round of the 2017/18 Europa League.
On Monday, 19 June the names were drawn for the first qualifying round of the 2017/18 Europa League.
Lyngby BK v Bangor City
Bala Town v FC Vaduz
Connah’s Quay v HJK Helsinki
Bangor will play their first leg away to Danish opposition Lyngby Boldklub, who have reached the Europa League qualifiers for the first time in their history after finishing 3rd in the 2016/17 Danish SuperLiga.
Welsh Cup winners, Bala Town will play the Liechtenstein Cup winners, FC Vaduz .
FC Vaduz were the winners of Liechtenstein Cup for the fifth consecutive season, but as they are the only professional side in their country, they play in the Swiss League and were relegated at the end of last season.
Connah’s Quay have had the toughest draw of the three as they will face HJK Helsinki, who finished runners-up in the Finnish Veikkausliiga in 2016.
The Nomads managed to reach the second qualifying round in last season’s competition after knocking out Norwegian side, Stabaek.
