Welsh Premier League leaders Connah’s Quay welcome Northern Irish outfit, Coleraine to the Deeside Stadium on Saturday night in the third round of the Irn Bru Challenge Cup, with coverage live on S4C from 7:20.

As well as reaching the Irn Bru Cup third round, Connah’s Quay have climbed to the top of the WPL table having won nine out of 11 matches in all competitions this season.

The Nomads won 0-1 at Falkirk to book their place in the third round, knocking out the competition’s most successful club (4 wins).

Their opponents, Coleraine are competing in the Irn Bru Cup for the first time after finishing as runners-up in the Northern Irish Premiership last season.

Coleraine beat Formartine Utd on penalties in the last round, but manager Oran Kearney left the club after the game to take over at St Mirren.

The newly appointed manager, Rodney McAree is yet to taste victory with his new club as Coleraine are currently on a run of five games without a win.

Can McAree break the disappointing streak or will Andy Morrison’s men power their way into the quarter finals?
