The 131st Welsh Cup final will be played at Newtown’s Latham Park where Aberystwyth Town will face Connah’s Quay on Sunday, May 6th. The Final will be live on Sgorio at 14:30, with kick off at 14:45.
This will be the fifth time that the town has played host to Welsh football’s showpiece event. Latham Park last hosted the Welsh Cup Final in 2015, when The New Saints secured the domestic treble after beating Newtown in the final.
Aberystwyth won the Welsh Cup at Latham Parc in 1900 and Neville Powell and Seamus Heath will hope to repeat the feat in their first season in charge of Aber.
Connah’s Quay appear in their first Welsh Cup final since 1998, with the Nomads losing to Bangor City in their only final appearance to date.
