Kayleigh Green (x2) and Natasha Harding scores as Wales Women secure victory over Russia as the team remain unbeaten in their World Cup qualifying campaing. Jayne Ludlow’s side have now moved top of their group after two wins in the space of a week.

Jayne Ludlow team won their second game in a week as Wales climbed to the top of their World Cup qualifying group.

Kayleigh Green scored twice after break with Natasha Harding netting the third in a 3-0 victory against Russia.

Wales have won five and have two draws in the qualifiers – with one remaining game.

If Wales beat England in their final game in the group 1, Wales Women will compete in the World Cup for the first time in their history in next year’s tournament.

Wales welcome England on Friday 31st August in a yet to be confirmed venue.
