Live coverage of the JD Welsh Premier League football match between Bala Town and Cardiff Met this Saturday night at 7:20 on S4C.

Both teams have spent the last few seasons competing in the top half but consistency has been a problem.

At best, the clubs can win against anyone – but both can lose against anyone too.

Reaching Europe is the goal and the Sgorio team will be on Maes Tegid field for all the action.

Bala Town v Cardiff Met | Saturday – 19:30 (S4C)
We’ve passed the halfway point to the league split and the race for the Top Six has begun.

Bala Town have reached the Top Six for the past four seasons, while Cardiff Met have also secured a top half finish in their two seasons since being promoted to the WPL.

The clubs start the weekend in the 5th and 6th position, and a Met win would see them climb above the Lakesiders.

Cardiff Met have never won away against Bala Town, neither have they picked up a point at Maes Tegid, so it will be a tough task for Christian Edwards’ students on Saturday night.

On Tuesday night, the Archers secured a place in the Nathaniel MG Cup semi final with a home win against Haverfordwest (6-0), while Bala Town fell at the hands of Connah’s Quay, losing 0-1 at home for the second time in three days.
