Sgorio has picked the five JD Cymru Premier players that stood out over the weekend.

Connor Roberts (Aberystwyth)
After losing four consecutive league matches, Aber picked up their first point since August thanks to Connor Roberts’ goalkeeping heroics. Roberts had kept a clean sheet up until the last minute of the game where Kostya Georgievsky volleyed in a late equaliser.

Sion Spence (Y Barri)
What a week for Sion Spence – he scored his first goal for Barry as well as assisting Keyon Reffell’s goal before being called up to the Wales u21 squad to face Moldova. Congratulations, Sion!

Lassana Mendes (Y Bala)
Lassana Mendes played a vital part in Bala’s win at The Rock on Friday – opening the scoring with a quality finish, before celebrating acrobatically. His energetic, commanding performance sees Mendes featured in the 5-on-form for the first time this season, and if he keeps performing like he did on Friday, it won’t be his last appearance.

Michael Bakare (Cei Connah)
After going 1-0 down at Carmarthen on Saturday, Michael Bakare took things into his own hands against the Old Gold. His brace secured an important three points for Connah’s Quay in the race for the title. Bakare now has four goals in his last four Cymru Premier appearances and is the Nomads’ top scorer.

Jamie Breese (Caernarfon)
Jamie Breese has unsurprisingly been included in the 5-on-form for the second week running – the physical forward scored in consecutive Cymru Premier fixtures for the first time in his career. His goals alone have won nine points for Caernarfon in the league this season, scoring the winner against Airbus, Newtown and The New Saints.
