Five on form, Sgorio picks five players who stood out over the weekend.
George Ratcliffe – Barry Town United
A good week for the Barry Town United goalkeeper, a clean sheet for Wales under 21 and Barry Town.
Ratcliffe is the only goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet against Pen-y-bont this season, reaching a total of five clean sheets for the season – no other keeper has more clean sheets this season.
Luke Cummings – Barry Town United
After losing three in a row Barry Town have come back to winning ways and within three points of the top spot after their 3-0 win over Pen-y-bont. Right back Cummings scored his first goal for the club, a thumping strike from out side of the area.
Eliot Evans – Met Caerdydd
The Wales C international scored a great goal from outside of the box to secure Cardiff Met’s first win since September, with the Archers climbing in to the top six after the 2-1 win over Cefn Druids.
Josh Graham – STM Sports
A historic win for the capital city-based side after beating Aberystwyth Town in the semi-final of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Graham scored the winner for the Cymru South club, with STM Sports reaching the final for the first time in their history.
Michael Wilde – Cei Connah
Wilde’s fifth goal in four games secures Connah’s Quay’s place in the Nathaniel MG Cup final for the first time since 1996 – the year the club lifted the trophy.
On this day in 1924 Wales played Scotland in a British Home Championships at Ninian Park in Cardiff, in a rare occasion where both international captains were Cardiff City players
