Wales ‘C’ – a team of Welsh Premier Leagues stars – face England ‘C’ on Tuesday the 19th of March in an international friendly match at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium. The match will be broadcast live on Sgorio’s Facebook site and Youtube, with kick off at 7:45.

Manager Mark Jones has selected a squad of 21 players from the JD Welsh Premier League, which includes a blend of experience and youth.

Carmarthen striker, Liam Thomas is Wales’ top scorer this season with 20 goals – 18 in the Welsh Premier League.

Barry Town United and Cardiff Met ar the are the club with the highest representation in the squad, with five players from both clubs earning call ups.

The two sides met at Barry’s Jenner Park in March 2018, with England running out 3-2 winners courtesy of a Fejiri Okenabirhie hat-trick. Mark Jones and Chris Venables were the scorers for Wales, who almost forced a draw late on through Aeron Edwards.
