Cardiff Met secure their place in the next season’s Europa League qualifying round for the first time in their history after their play-off final victory over Bala Town.
For the first time in the club’s history, Cardiff Met have secured Europa League qualification after their 1-3 penalty shoot out win over Bala Town in the WPL play off final.
For the first time in the play off final history the game went to a penalty shoot-out after finishing 1-1 in the 90 and extra time.
Both goals came in the first half – Henry Jones for Bala Town and an Eliot Evans strike for the visitors.
After three missed kicks for Bala Town in the penalty shoot-out, Eliot Evans scored the winning penalty for Cardiff Met to send them on their way to European football.
Cardiff Met will play in the Europa League preliminary rounds following their play off win.
