Front-runners Barry Town travel to Latham Park, the Cofis welcome the champions and Cefn Druids take on Bala Town live on Facebook.

Friday, 4 October

Caernarfon v The New Saints | Friday – 19:45
Caernarfon are on their longest unbeaten run in the Cymru Premier since 2003 (7 games), and it was their opponents this weekend, The New Saints that was the last team to defeat the Cofis in the league (TNS 1-0 Cfon).

Scott Ruscoe will expect a big reaction from his players following their loss against title challengers Barry Town last Saturday.

Caernarfon’s heaviest home defeat in the top flight came against the Saints back in 2007 – TNS won 0-7 with Marc Lloyd Williams netting a hat-trick and Michael Wilde also scoring a brace.

Pen-y-bont v Aberystwyth | Friday – 19:45
Aberystwyth are on a poor run of six league defeats in seven games, and the Black & Greens could drop into the relegation zone if they were to lose at the KYMCO Stadium on Friday.

These two sides are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Cymru Premier this season, and although it’s still early days, this could be a pivotal fixture in the battle for survival.

This will be first ever fixture between these two teams and a win for Pen-y-bont could see them climb as high as 8th position.

Cefn Druids v Bala Town | Friday – 20:00 (Facebook Live)
Seven of Cefn Druids’ eight goals this season have been scored at home this season, so Bala Town will have to be weary at the Rock on Friday night.

Cefn Druids have only won once this season and Huw Griffiths’ side are now without a win in their last five games (lost 3, drawn 2).

The home side tends to be victorious when these sides meet – the away team hasn’t won any of the last nine fixtures between these sides (since September 2014 – Cefn 0-1 Bala).

Saturday, 5 October

Airbus UK v Cardiff Met | Saturday – 14:30
Cardiff Met have already beaten Airbus once this season thanks to Chris Baker’s strike, but the clubs have only ever met once at Broughton in the Cymru Premier, which was the Archers’ first ever top flight fixture back in August 2016 (Air 1-0 Met).

Airbus secured a vital victory at home to Carmarthen last Saturday which saw the Wingmakers climb from the bottom of the table into 9th spot.

Cardiff Met are one of the three unbeaten sides in the league, but after the bizarre postponement to their match against Cefn Druids last weekend due to the kit clash, the students are now five points behind Barry Town with a game in hand.

Carmarthen v Connah’s Quay | Saturday – 14:30
Carmarthen are the only club who are without a win in the Cymru Premier this season, while Connah’s Quay remain unbeaten.

It finished 1-1 when these clubs met earlier this season, but after winning four of their last five league games Andy Morrison will demand nothing less than a Nomads win.

The Old Gold are on their longest run without a win in the Cymru Premier since September-December 2017 when they went 13 games without a victory and finished 11th in the league but avoided relegation due to Bangor’s licensing failure.

Newtown v Barry Town | Saturday – 14:30
Barry Town start the weekend four points clear at the top of the table following their away win against The New Saints last Saturday.

Gavin Chesterfield’s Dragons are unbeaten this season (won 6, drawn 2) and have kept five consecutive clean sheets in the Cymru Premier (7 hours, 50 minutes without conceding).

Newtown’s home record has been solid in recent times, as the Robins have lost only three of their last 21 league matches at home.
