Aberystwyth v Llandudno | Friday – 19:45
After securing their place in the Welsh Cup quarter final, Llandudno will be hoping to build on the successes of last weekend to lift themselves off the bottom of the WPL table.

With 10 games to go until the end of the WPL season, Llandudno have a mountain to climb as they are 10 points off safety following a run of 16 league games without a win.

Aberystwyth on the other hand will be competing for that 7th position and a place in the end of season play-offs for an Europa League spot.

But the Ceredigion club are also on a terrible run having lost their last seven games in all competitions.

New signing Marc Williams is likely to make his Aber debut against the club where he spent three seasons and won the WPL 2015/16 Player of the Year Award.

Aber’s Declan Walker is the only player to score in the previous meetings between the two sides this season.

Last meetings:
Llandudno 0–1 Aberystwyth (20/10/18)
Aberystwyth 1–0 Llandudno (10/08/18)

Caernarfon v Barry Town | Saturday – 14:30
Barry Town top the WPL table, and with TNS out of action this weekend, the Dragons have a chance to open a gap at the summit.

Caernarfon have only lost one of their last 11 matches in all competitions and that defeat came against Barry Town in December.

Barry have won eight of their last nine games in all competitions and are looking to upset all the odds to get their hands on the WPL trophy for the first time since 2003.

Barry Town and Newtown are the only two clubs to do the double over Caernarfon in the first phase.

Last meetings:
Barry Town 2-1 Caernarfon (22/12/18)
Caernarfon 0-1 Barry Town (15/09/18)

Carmarthen v Cardiff Met | Saturday – 14:30
It’s been a good few weeks for Cardiff Met who have lifted the League Cup for the first time in their history and have also booked a place in the Welsh Cup quarter finals.

Christian Edwards’ Archers have won five games on the bounce and start the second phase three points clear in the race for 7th spot.

The students are aiming to reach the play-off final for the third season running while Carmarthen will be hoping to put some distance between themselves and the bottom two.

Cardiff Met 1-1 Carmarthen (28/10/18)

Cefn Druids v Llanelli | Saturday – 14:30
A relegation scrap takes place at The Rock on Saturday with only six points separating the Druids (10th) and Llanelli (11th).

Cefn Druids are still waiting for their first win in 2019 following a run of five games without a win in all competitions.

Since beating the Druids in November, Llanelli have only won one in eight in all competitions.

Cefn Druids were the only club to lose twice against Llanelli in the WPL first phase this season.

Newtown v Connah’s Quay | Saturday – 14:30
Connah’s Quay led the pack for weeks but after an unexpected defeat at Carmarthen in the last game of the first phase, the Nomads have slid down to 3rd position.

Newtown are the only club that are unbeaten at home in the WPL this season, and the Robins will look to close in on the top three this weekend.

Striker Rio Ahmadi could make his debut for Newtown, while Andy Morrison could be looking to his new full-back Priestley Farquharson to feature.
