Sgorio has picked the five JD Cymru Premier players that stood out over the weekend.
Dave Roberts (Airbus UK)
Experienced shot-stopper Dave Roberts keeps his place in Sgorio’s 5-on-form after another impressive performance over the weekend. He kept his first league clean sheet this season on Saturday following a string of quality saves against Newtown as the match finished goalless.
Eliot Evans (Cardiff Met)
Eliot Evans showed some great technique to score a half volley against Caernarfon at the weekend. This goal sealed a solid 2-0 victory for the students against the Canaries as Met look to finish in seventh place for the second consecutive season.
Jamie Reed (Cefn Druids)
What a way to announce your return to the JD Cymru Premier! Jamie Reed scored a brace at Maes Tegid to secure an unexpected three points against Bala Town on Saturday. Reed will be an important player in Druids’ quest to finish in seventh place if he keeps performing to this level.
Kayne McLaggon (Barry Town)
Kayne McLaggon added another two goals to his growing tally this season – he opened the scoring for Barry against Carmarthen before doubling the lead with an incredible scissor kick!
McLaggon has five goals in his last six league matches and is Barry’s top scorer in the JD Cymru Premier with 13 goals.
Mo Touray (Barry Town)
After a slow start to the season, Mo Touray looks to be back to his best. He scored the third goal in Barry’s 7-1 victory over Carmarthen as well as creating two goals for the Linnets. Touray was the JD Cymru Premier Young Player of the Year last season.
