Pen-y-bont v Caernarfon | Saturday – 14:30
Pen-y-bont welcome Caernarfon to the SDM Glass Stadium this Saturday for their second home game of 2020.

A late Luke Bowen goal secured a vital point for Carmarthen at the SDM Glass against Pen-y-bont on the first day of the year, as both teams battle to fight their way from the relegation zone.

Rhys Griffiths’ team have been in a poor run of form, with one win from their last 12 Cymru Premier fixtures – but a result against Caernarfon on Saturday will see his side climb to 10th, sending rivals Carmarthen into the drop zone.

Caernarfon were in a good run of form, winning five out of six Cymru Premier fixtures leading up to the Christmas period, but have lost two in a row against Bala Town – 1-2 at The Oval on boxing day and 3-0 at Maes Tegid four days later.

Although the Christmas period has been disappointing for the Cofis, a win against Pen-y-bont will secure their place in the top six for the second season in succession.
