Friday, 10 January

Caernarfon v Aberystwyth | Friday – 19:45
The Cofis only need one point to secure their place in the Top Six For the second consecutive season.

But Caernarfon’s side have struggled over the Christmas period, losing twice to Bala Town before a goalless draw at Pen-y-bont last Saturday.

After only one win in their last seven league games, Aberystwyth will be looking to get back to winning ways as they go in search of their first win against the Cofis in 11 years.

Newtown v The New Saints | Friday – 20:00 (S4C)
Newtown start the weekend in that elusive 6th place, and a win for the Robins would be a huge step towards claiming a top half berth.

Chris Hughes’ men are on a run of six games without defeat (won 5, drawn 1) and only conceded once during that run (penalty vs Aber last match).

But The New Saints haven’t lost any of their last 10 away games at Newtown – since December 2013.

Saturday, 11 January

Carmarthen v Airbus UK | Saturday – 14:30
After two massive fixtures against Pen-y-bont over the Christmas period, Carmarthen face another six-pointer this Saturday as they face Airbus who are level on points with the Old Gold at the bottom of the league.

Carmarthen striker Luke Bowen scored three times against Pen-y-bont over the double-header and Kristian O’Leary’s side are now only one point from safety.

Airbus have already beaten Carmarthen this season, but after a run of 10 games without a win (drawn 1, lost 9) Steve O’Shaughnessy’s Wingmakers are in danger of dropping straight back down into the JD Cymru North.

In their last 10 outings, only once have Barry Town managed to score more than one goal a game.

Connah’s Quay have not lost at the Deeside Stadium since March 2019 (0-2 vs TNS).

Cefn Druids v Pen-y-bont | Saturday – 14:30
It was a tough Christmas for the Druids who had won eight out of nine games before a draw with Airbus followed by two defeats against the champions.

A last minute winner from TNS knocked the stuffing out of Huw Griffiths’ side in their last match, but the Druids will be hoping for a favour from the Saints this weekend who face 6th placed Newtown.

Pen-y-bont are without a win in their last seven league games but after two draws against Carmarthen and Caernarfon since New Years Day, Rhys Griffiths’ team have climbed out of the relegation zone.

But Cardiff Met will be confident as they have won their last four matches against the Lakesiders.
