  • Garlic prawns

    Garlic Prawns


    • olive oil
    • 6-8 garlic cloves, sliced
    • ½-1 tsp crushed dried chilli
    • 500g fresh prawns, shell on or off – up to you!
    • salt to taste
    • handful of fresh flat parsley, chopped

    To serve

    • lemon wedges
    • crusty bread


    1. Use a large frying pan and add a good glug of olive oil along with 6-8 sliced garlic cloves.
    2. Turn on the heat to medium and once the garlic starts to sizzle, stir so that the garlic doesn't burn. Cook for around 2 minutes then add 500g of fresh prawns.
    3. Stir gently so allowing the prawns to cook, but not letting the garlic burn.
    4. Make sure that all the prawns are pink entirely then add a good pinch of salt and a handful of parsley.
    5. Cook for a further minute then serve with wedges of lemon and crusty bread.
