Beef and Harissa Koftas.

Ingredients

  • 450g minced beef
  • 1 red onion (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons coriander (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 garlic cloves (grated)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients until well mixed. Divide the mixture into 6 and shape it over kofta sticks.
  2. Put them in the fridge before cooking for about 30 minutes or more.
  3. You can cook them on the BBQ or in the oven, fry or grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Serve with vegetables tossed in oil and garlic and put on the barbecue, and harissa hummus.
