The Cyw Service website and the Cyw film, Y Raplyfr Coll have been nominated in the KidScreen Awards 2013 – the website is up for Best Companion Website and the film for Best One-off, Special or TV Movie.

KidScreen is the leading international trade publication in the children's entertainment profession. The Cyw website is nominated in the Best Companion Website category, and the film Y Rapwyr Coll, produced by Fflic, is nominated for Best One-off, Special or TV Movie.

The Cyw website is designed and maintained by Boom Plant in partnership with Cube design company in Cardiff. The website includes programmes, games, downloadable material for children to create and play, recipes, a birthday section and an information section for parents.

The Cyw Service has proved a fair bit of success lately as it was also nominated for Channel of the Year in the Children's BAFTAs 2012 earlier this month.

Sioned Wyn Roberts, children's programmes commissioner for S4C said of the KidScreen 2013 nominations:

"We're delighted with the news, the latest feather in the Cyw Service cap! The KidScreen Awards are recognised world wide and have great gravitas in the children's entertainment industry. We're very pleased that the Cyw website and the film Y Raplyfr Coll are up for nomination and we'd like to congratulate Cube and Fflic on their success."
