Over the past weeks, S4C viewers have followed the six celebrities - Malcolm Allen, Catrin Dafydd, Mari Lovgreen, Richard Elis, Myfanwy Alexander a Rhodri Gomer Davies – as they were taken completely out of their comfort zone and taught to sing the the Three Welsh Tenors.

The series came to a close with a festive charity concert, broadcast on Saturday 15 January.

Carolau Gobaith also was a competition between three teams – one tenor each with two stars – to perform the best version of the Welsh carol Iesu Faban Mair. The winners, chosen by an expert panel – Caryl Parry Jones, Elin Fflur and Cefin Roberts – were Aled Hall's team with Mari Lovgreen and Richard Elis. The winning team have claimed their place on track eight of the CD.

Tenor Rhys Meirion was the one who came up with the idea for the series, produced by Teledu Apollo.

"We were so fortunate to have such fantastic guests and we succeeded in getting together characters who were willing to throw themselves at the challenge and make it an unforgettable experience for us all, including, I'm sure, the viewers," says Rhys Meirion in thanks to the stars who took part. "I hope you enjoy listening to the CD and thanks for your support to the three charities. Oh, and congratulations to Aled Hall as the winning team captain."
