Following the death of Lord Roberts of Conwy over the weekend, S4C will look back at his life and contribution to politics in Wales and beyond in the programme Yr Arglwydd Roberts (Lord Roberts) on Monday, 16 December at 9:30pm.

Wyn Roberts was a Conservative Member of Parliament for Conwy for 27 years and during his tenure in the Welsh Office he oversaw the passing of the Welsh Language Act through Westminster in 1993.

Along with his many achievements as a politician, the programme will also shed some light on the lesser known aspects of Wyn Roberts’s public life.

Contributors to the progamme include the current Secretary of State for Wales, David Jones and broadcaster Euryn Ogwen Williams.
