Next month's international football match between England and Wales will be shown live on S4C.

With UEFA Nations League matches scheduled during October, Ryan Giggs' side will prepare with a friendly match against England in Wembley, on Thursday 8 October. Sgorio will bring live coverage of the match from 7.30pm, with kick off at 8.00pm.

Wales will then face two consecutive away matches in the UEFA Nations League, against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday 11 October and Bulgaria on Wednesday 14 October. Both matches will be shown live on S4C as the broadcaster brings coverage of every Wales match in the competition.

Sue Butler, S4C Sports Commissioner, said: "This game is the latest instalment of an age-old rivalry between two proud footballing nations and we're delighted to show it in the Welsh language, for all Wales fans."

The match will be Wales' first visit to Wembley since September 2011, when England prevailed by a goal to nil.

The last encounter between the two sides saw England win 2-1 in Lens, in the Euro 2016 Championships. Following the defeat, Wales went on to top the qualifying group and reach the semi-finals, where they lost 2-0 to eventual champions Portugal, while the Three Lions bowed out in the Round of 16 after a 2-1 defeat against Iceland.

Join Dylan Ebenezer and the Sgorio team for full match coverage, analysis and all the reaction, at 7.30pm on Thursday 8 October.
