Chocolate Brownies

The best pudding ever, but will Ows and Leah be able to make tasty brownies?



For the Brownies

165g dark chocolate 70%

165g butter without salt

330g caster fine sugar

3 large eggs

45g cocoa powder

120g plain flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough

85g unsalted, soft butter

150g light brown soft sugar

15g demerara sugar

3 tbsp of yogurt

210g smooth peanut butter

150g plain flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

50g tiny drops of milk chocolate

For the Ganache

150g dark chocolate 70%

150 double cream


Soften the chocolate and butter in a bowl

Allow the chocolate / butter to cool.

Whisk the eggs and then add the caster sugar in another bowl - whisk for about 5 minutes until thickened.

Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture

Add the chocolate mixture to the other mixture.

Spread into a 10-inch tin. Bake at 160◦c for 20–22 minutes.

METHOD Cookie Dough

Mix butter, soft brown sugar and demerara sugar in the blender. Add the smooth yogurt and peanuts.

Add the dry ingredients.

Add the chocolate (Choc chips) and salt.

Spread on top of brownies until smooth.

Ganache METHOD

Soften the chocolate with the cream. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes.

Add to the brownie mixture.

Place Peanut Butter Chocolates on top of brownies as a decoration

Place in the fridge for about 2 hours to harden
