Top notch culinary guidance is at the heart of this new series of Cegin Bryn. Chef Bryn Williams visits kitchens the length and breadth of Wales offering gourmet advice and support to enthusiastic home cooks, which culminates in a visit to his restaurant in London for a specially created masterclass.

Along his journey, Bryn visits local food producers and cooks their produce on various locations – Wales at its best.

This is the sixth series for the chef from Denbigh, who now runs Odette's restaurant in London and Porth Eirias at Colwyn Bay.

Good quality local produce is very important to Bryn, and in this series he will be travelling all over Wales showing his apprentices how to make the most of their local produce.

'What I enjoy about teaching people in the kitchen is seeing their response when they see something new in the kitchen, experiencing something new in the kitchen, and hopefully learning as well.'

In the first episode, Nia Erain from Cardiff learns how to prepare the prefect steak and Bryn visits a beef farmer in Llantwit Major, which inspires him to create a mouth-watering dish at the farm. Bryn also creates vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, shows how to prepare fish and bake cakes, and teaches Iolo Williams for Felinheli how to cook Sunday lunch for the whole family.
