Giant Skillet Yorkshire Pudding


  • 115g Plain Flour
  • 1 ½ Tsp Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • 285ml Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Fresh Thyme
  • 5-6 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil


  1. Place the flour, salt and chopped thyme in the bowl and mix in the eggs using a fork.
  2. Gradually add in the milk until you have a smooth thin batter.
  3. Preheat the oven to 220˚C Fan/200˚C Conventional.
  4. Place the skillet or a frying pan that can go into the oven on the hob over a high heat along with the oil.
  5. Heat until you can see the oil shimmering then carefully pour in the batter.
  6. Place straight into the preheated oven and bake for around 25 minutes, or until risen and golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately.
