A chance for the residents of Mold to voice opinions in S4C Viewers' Evening

19 November 2015

With live matches from the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the much anticipated second series of crime drama Y Gwyll/Hinterland heading the S4C schedule this autumn, there was plenty of excitement and tension to keep us glued to the screens.

And more recently, several new series have become a talking points, including two brand new dramas; courtroom drama Dim ond y Gwir and spine-chilling mystery 35 Diwrnod.

But what do you think about the programmes and services S4C provides?

In a Viewers' Evening held in Ysgol Maes Garmon on Tuesday, 24 November at 7.30pm, the residents of Mold and the surrounding areas can put their questions and opinions to the channel's Chief Executive, Ian Jones and S4C Authority Chairman, Huw Jones.

All are welcome to attend the evening and the S4C Authority Chairman, Huw Jones, is glad of the opportunity to meet viewers during the Viewers' Evenings which are held several times a year. Huw Jones is looking forward to hearing what the residents of Mold have to say on Tuesday night. He says;

"Viewers' Evenings are an integral part of the S4C Authority work to hear first-hand what the viewers think of the channel's programmes and services. S4C is facing a challenging period with its future funding structure being debated, and it's important that we include viewers' opinions in these discussions as we put forward our case to ensure that S4C receives sufficient funding in order to maintain a complete and high quality service for the future."

The S4C Viewers' Evening begins at 7.30pm in Ysgol Maes Garmon and a loop system and translation equipment will be provided. The evening is an opportunity to voice opinions, ask questions and share ideas on what you would like to see on the Welsh language TV channel.
