S4C's digital switchover campaign scoops award

S4C has scooped a top award at the UK's biggest television promotion and marketing event.

In the Promax 2009 Awards, the Channel won the silver award in the Best Press/Public Relations Campaign category with On with the Show, its communications campaign about digital switchover in Wales.

S4C’s On with the Show campaign lasts until March 2010. The campaign has included circus shows, workshops, trailers and press and media relations activity.

JM Creative and Working Word Public Relations Ltd. have led the On with the Show campaign, after winning in open competition the tender to provide S4C’s digital switchover communications campaign.

Garffild Lloyd Lewis, S4C’s Director of Communications, said, “This award recognises the commitment of both the On with the Show and S4C communications teams, who have worked closely to communicate the messages about digital switchover to viewers. Congratulations to all.”
