A feather in Cyw's cap: another date added to Christmas tour

05/11/2013

Following the great demand for tickets to S4C's Cyw's Christmas show the producers have added another performance to the tour.

So it's first come first served to buy tickets for the additional performance which takes place in Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni secondary school on Tuesday 17 December at 4.30pm. The school hall holds 500 and tickets will go on sale on Tuesday morning (5 November).

"This year again the response and enthusiasm that families across Wales have shown to the show is amazing, the performance in Galeri Caernarfon sold out back in July!" says Stifyn Parri, Company Director of MR PRODUCER who are producing and organising the tour on behalf of S4C this year.

"It was quite difficult to decide where to host the additional performance, but we feel that this is the location which will benefit most people and it fits in to the show's three week tour across Wales."

The tour takes place between Thursday, 5 December and Saturday, 21 December in Secondary Schools and Theatres across Wales. Tickets are available to everyone so members of the public have a chance to buy as well as primary schools, pre-school, nursery and play groups who wish to take groups to performances in their local area. The show's producers have already added an extra performance at Galeri Caernarfon after the tickets to the original shows all sold out.

During the three-week tour the Cyw Christmas Show will visit Cardiff, the Rhymney Valley, Swansea, Ystalyfera, Carmarthen, Cardigan, Aberystwyth, Pontrhydfendigaid, Llangefni, Ruthin, Bala, Pwllheli and Caernarfon. To see a full list of performances visit s4c.co.uk/caban.
