Cân i Gymru 2026 is now open for applicants with the live broadcast on 28 February 2026 where the jury’s choice of a shortlist of songs will be put to a public vote.

The iconic trophy and a cash prize of £5,000 is available for the composer of the winning song, with the second prize winner winning £3,000 and £2,000 for the third prize winner.
