Losing a child for whatever reason is probably one of the most traumatic experiences possible,and many people need a lot of help and support to get through their grief. The organisations below are there to offer specialised help anyone in this situation.

    The Compassionate Friends offer a helpline and website with forums aimed at parents who have lost a child. There is also a further website set up to offer support to bereaved siblings.

  • Cruse Bereavement Care

    Cruse Bereavement Care is a service offering counselling, information and support to anyone who has been bereaved. It has ten groups in Wales and bereavement counselling, telephone and children's counselling are provided by carefully selected, trained volunteers.
