S4C invites viewers to voice their opinion

20 September 2010

The future of S4C is currently being discussed and the S4C Authority is keen to receive comments from individuals and organisations which will help the Channel prepare for the future.

During this process, listening to our viewers is vital and S4C wants to hear your views on the Channel’s programmes and services.

The viewers’ opinion is important to the S4C Authority’s Strategy as S4C Chair John Walter Jones stressed in the Channel’s 2009 Annual Report.

“I want to make sure that nobody feels that S4C is an inaccessible organisation. As an Authority, we have a duty to listen and to keep in contact, and we will take advantage of every opportunity to do this. S4C is a unique partnership, encompassing the public service broadcaster, programme providers and the audience. We need each other, and on behalf of the Authority I must emphasise our desire to keep in touch. As the Welsh proverb says, everybody has a view and views are to be expressed.”

Contact S4C to voice your opinions by completing the form on the website – s4c.co.uk/cysylltu – or by phoning the S4C Viewers’ Hotline on 0870 600 4141 (Calls should cost no more than 6p a minute from a BT line). You are welcome to email or phone with your comments until Thursday, 30 September.
