New developments on S4C Clic mean that users of the service can now create their own personalised service.

As part of these changes' users are able to create profiles for the whole family, create a personal list of programmes and to return to a programme and continue watching.

During June users will be asked to register to use S4C Clic resources.

Those who register between May 27 and August 10 will have the opportunity to win a 49" Wide-screen Smart Television. Users only need to register once and it only takes a minute or so.

Over the last few months S4C has released a number of series box sets on S4C Clic. These series have been exceptionally popular with a number of classics such as Con Passionate, Y Gwyll and 35 Diwrnod proving to be especially so.

A number of old series such as Nyth Cacwn and Tair Chwaer have also caught the imagination and brought back memories to our viewers.

Owen Evans, S4C Chief Executive said:

"These exciting developments in S4C Clic are a part of the channel's strategy of developing digital content.

"The tens of box sets which have already been released have been hugely successful with viewers enjoying a bit of nostalgia and looking back at some of the classics the channel has produced over the years.

"We acknowledge that people now view in a variety of different ways and that our on demand service needs to be sophisticated and high quality.

"The success of our new drama series Merched Parchus, which was released online first, demonstrates the importance of our digital service and is a way for us to target younger viewers."

Over the last six months nearly a million programmes have been watched on S4C Clic.

More than 1,400 have already registered with the service and S4C is encouraging users to register as soon as possible in order that they can take advantage of all the resources on offer.
